Three Pillars of Beyond Business as Usual
These three strategic pillars will serve as our operational foundation.
Pillar A: Leadership & Legacy (The “Rooted” Foundation)
We will focus on developing, supporting, and sustaining the current and future leadership of the church.
Pillar B: Restoration & Renewal (The “Rising” Movement)
We will work to target structural revitalization, reconnect with unconnected churches, and ensuring a strong core mission to support the agenda of the ASMBC.
Pillar C: Formation & Future (The Wholistic Impact)
We will serve to ensure the long-term viability of the church by investing in Christian Education, faith formation, and the next generation spiritual development.

Beyond Business as Usual Methodology
HOW WILL WE DO THIS?
The strategic pillars will be accomplished by focusing on the tri-fold agenda of our state convention’s purpose: Christian Education (Worship), Missions (Discipleship), & Evangelism (Fellowship).
- Christian Education (WORSHIP): John 4:24; Matt. 16:18-19, 2 Tim.6:16-17 {Reverence & Renewal}
- Missions (DISCIPLESHIP): Matthew 28:18-20, Is. 43:19 {Growth & Governance}
- Evangelism (FELLOWSHIP): Rom. 1:16, Matt. 18:20, 1 John 1:3 {Connection & Corps}
